Hypothetical Questions about 1066 A.D. -- The Norman Conquest ?

I think he would have defeated the Normans if he hadn't had to fight Hardrada...If the Normans had failed, I don't think they would have returned, because the English saxons would have almost definitely killed the Norman Duke...It is my opinion that Saxon England was undergoing a transformation of their own, so things would definitely been different if William had failed...and I would be very curious to see the results of this Saxon renaissance
