Scratching chalkboards and running friction sounds annoying the brain...?
Chalkboards don’t bother me but friction sounds do...such as 2 cotton rubbing together, or more recently my nieces bought some candy and they were trying to open the packaging made from plastic foil kinda stuff...uhhhhh hu hu ehhh! lol Stuff like this has bothered me before but I would forget about it, but for some reason its sticking in my head and I feel pretty irritated. I'm just curious if anyone can relate and if there is a way to overcome the sound of these annoyances completely. I tried making my own friction noise for about a min to try and to focus on it not bothering me.....yea didn’t work kinda made it worse! lol Is there a technique to ease the mind to were the sounds simply don’t bother you? Something I could practice? Breathing? Forgetting? Convincing myself I like the sounds???
