My boyriend lost our dog papers?

ok so when we were moving house my idiotic boyfriend lost the papers for our rottweiler yeah i know "it shouldve been your responsibility" "you should have checked they were there" blah blah blah he is his dog too.forget the insults i dont need them just one simple answer can a dog that has already been kc registered get replacement papers yes or no is all i want to see not a stupid big long answer packed with insults and info i didnt ask for just yes or no. is replacement for lost papers possible? as soon as i get a proper answer im deleting the question. i cant be bothered with the usual crap that people have to endure on here when all that is required is a simple answer or some friendly advice.
