It really sucks to like your friends, huh? You want to ask her out, but you know that if it doesn't work it'll be awkward from then on. Everything feels like it weighs down on you at once. But you know what? The only person that can help you make this decision is you. The only thing you can do is to do what YOU feel is the right choice for this situation. Would you rather keep her as a good friend? Or do you want to run the risk of losing her if it doesn't work? And you don't know that it won't work... so I suggest you take your pick and then give your all to whatever choice you make. Sorry I can't be of more help.
